I have been trying to get this job class for the past month, but have been unable to due to friends not being available to help me. Wolfe Masters and I tried the other day and we failed....miserably. The first NM (Notorious Monster), Forger, killed us in record time mainly cause Wolfe forgot to heal (a White Mage that doesn't heal WTF) So today i was leveling Paladin because I was bored and needed vendor trash to sell and get the quest item I needed back to try the quest again. 6000 gil for one little piece of Darksteel Ore just so I could get the Oriental Steel I needed to spawn Forger again. (if you die you lose the item needed to spawn him -.-)

I got the 6000 gil and headed to Norg. I had to Spectral Jig (Dancer skill that gives me Sneak and Invisible) my way through the Super Happy Fun Time Pirate Cave (not the real name, just what I call it for the high level undead pirates and sea monsters that inhabit it), without a map, and get my Steel. While on my way there a level 60 Red Mage I was friends with IM'ed me and asked me what I was up to. I told him the story about the suicidal White Mage and he offered to help me kill the two NMs. We accomplished that task and here I am....waiting the three hours the game requires to finish the quest before it is considered "complete". Only three more Advanced Jobs to go, Corsair, Puppetmaster, and Dragoon. Corsair and Puppetmaster are in the same place, so the Suicidal White Mage and I will tackle that later when he is available, and Dragoon I will take on myself once I get my Dancer to level 34.
